October is Substance Use Prevention Month. 💙

Substance use prevention starts in childhood. When children have safe, supportive relationships, trusted adults, healthy coping skills, and opportunities to build resilience, we help create a strong foundation for their future.

Prevention is more than talking about substances. It’s creating safe environments, strengthening families, supporting mental health, and making sure children know they have adults they can turn to.

This month, we’re reminded that what we do to support children today can make a difference for years to come.
