This worship service addresses the uncomfortable but unavoidable reality of conflict, looking to Jesus' clear roadmap in Matthew 18 for faithful reconciliation. Rather than airing grievances, we will use this time to practice empathy, praying for those we experience friction with and recognizing them as fellow image-bearers of God. Ultimately, we will be reminded that we do not navigate these difficult challenges alone, finding our refuge and strength together in God's protective presence.

This worship focuses on overcoming our natural resistance to God's call, drawing parallels between reluctant biblical leaders and our own modern hesitations. The service provides a space to honestly acknowledge our reluctance to lead or serve, helping the congregation actively move from resistance to acceptance. Ultimately, it encourages us to lean on God and our faith community to boldly fulfill our shared mission together.

Where are we going?

The future of worship can feel like a big question. Churches are changing, traditions are shifting, and worship leaders are asking what comes next.

What if we approached the future with curiosity instead of fear? What if we gathered to worship, learn, share ideas, and imagine what’s next together?

That’s what Fusion Worship Music Conference is all about. Join us September 24–26 at Belmont United Methodist Church in Nashville for worship, connection, and conversations about where worship is headed. 🎼
