Introducing Shining a Light on Behavior ✨
We’re excited to launch a new monthly series featuring behavior tips, fun facts and helpful insights from STARability’s very own BCBA.

Behavior is more than what we see — it can be visible, invisible, learned, changing over time and influenced by the environment around us.

Through this series, we’ll share simple, meaningful ways to better understand behavior and how support can help improve quality of life, independence and everyday skills for our STARs. 💙

Our STARs brought the energy, teamwork, and big smiles all season long, and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible volunteer coaches, supporters and generous sponsors. Thank you for helping make this season so fun, inclusive, and memorable for everyone involved!

There’s something special about seeing our STARs out in the community making a difference and our partnership with Naples Zoo is a perfect example of that! 🦒⭐️

Our Trailblazers love volunteering at the Naples Zoo, helping keep areas outside of exhibits clean and welcoming for guests while building teamwork, responsibility, confidence, and community connections along the way. This partnership is more than volunteerism it’s one nonprofit supporting another while creating meaningful opportunities for inclusion and purpose.

At STARability Foundation, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to contribute, connect, and thrive within their community. We are proud to partner with organizations like the Naples Zoo that share a commitment to education, engagement, and creating positive experiences for all.

Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive community, one act of service at a time. 💙🦓✨

For Mental Health Awareness Month, our STARs enjoyed a special day focused on creativity, learning, and relaxation! 💚✨
 
Participants explored mental health through art, an educational session, and ended the day with a peaceful sound bath led by Antonia Nicole, co-founder of Wildland Sanctuary. Using sound bowls, Antonia created a calming experience designed to help relax the body, calm the nervous system, and boost mood.
 
Our STARs also had the exciting opportunity to meet a new feathered friend, Congo, an African Grey parrot from Wildland Sanctuary! 🦜

Our ASL class is all about learning, connection and leadership! ✨

Taught by our very own STAR, Christine, participants are exploring American Sign Language through topics like holidays, seasons, jobs, personality traits and more. Christine helps guide the class step by step, giving her peers the chance to practice communication, build confidence and connect in new ways.

What an incredible Staff Retreat Day 2026! ✨

A day filled with connection, collaboration, reflection, and excitement for the future of the organization. From meaningful conversations and strategic planning to laughter, team building, and creativity this day truly reminded us of the power of coming together as one team.

A huge thank you to Artis—Naples for your incredible hospitality and for welcoming us into the Ubben Center. We are also so grateful for the opportunity to experience a tour of The Baker Museum and be inspired by the beautiful art.

Thank you to our facilitator Brad Walker for helping guide impactful discussions and thoughtful conversations surrounding the future of our organization. We also appreciate The Naples Players for bringing energy, engagement, and fun into our team-building activities and our Board President, Jeff M., for joining us and sharing in the vision and excitement for what’s ahead.

As we continue building on themes of foundational growth, leadership, and innovation, this years retreat was a reminder that the strength of our mission begins with the people behind it. Here’s to continuing to dream big, grow together, and make an even greater impact in our community. 💙⭐
