This year, for the Season of Creation, Pax Christi International and Pax Christi Asia Pacific launched I Vow for Peace, a campaign to gather messages of peace and nonviolence from around the world. 📸

Officially launched on 21 September, the International Day of Peace, the campaign ran throughout October, collecting photographs from people who wanted to show their commitment to a better world.

The hundreds of images we received were brought together in a single mosaic: people of different ages, languages and backgrounds, united by the same message of hope. 🌱

Pax Christi International and Pax Christi Asia Pacific offer heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed. Day after day, they remind us of the beauty of working together to build bridges to the future. 🕊️

October 24–30 is United Nations Disarmament Week. Together, we want to use these days to reflect on how to reduce armaments and prevent the spread of weapons.

We join the international call for nonviolence, urging institutions and citizens to keep working every day towards the “unarmed and disarming peace” invoked by Pope Leo in his address at the opening of the year. 🕊️
