October is National Bullying Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about the effects of bullying on young people. Beyond the immediate hurt, bullying can impact a teen’s self-esteem, mental health, emotional well-being, and ability to succeed in school.
Our Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) Training equips parents, teachers, caregivers, and community members with the tools to recognize the warning signs, provide support, and connect teens to the help they need. Visit https://kidsmatter2us.org/ymhfa-training/ for more information!
We are so grateful for the support provided for this important program by Endeavor Health Community Investment Fund and Endeavor Health Linden Oaks Behavioral Health Hospital, and other key partners, including Addison Township Mental Health Board, Naperville Township 708 Mental Health Board, Milton Township Community Mental Health Board-708 Board, Bloomingdale Township Community Mental Health Board, Winfield Township Community Mental Health 708 Board, City of Naperville, Illinois, Government, Rotary International District 6450, and area Rotary clubs.
