Facilities can hide miles of complex piping systems out of sight. But just how much piping can one facility actually contain?

In large manufacturing plants, hospitals, power facilities, and other complex buildings, piping networks can stretch for miles, connecting systems across enormous spaces. And much of it is hidden.

That’s why facility professionals need more than a floor plan. They need to understand the infrastructure that keeps the entire operation moving. Keeping accurate utility maps and as-built drawings can save time and help teams plan maintenance or renovations before anyone starts cutting into a wall.

Sometimes, the most important part of a facility is the professional who knows what’s happening beneath the surface.
