We have a new groundskeeper at di Rosa Napa! Yep, that's right, it's a baby owl!
Come try to spot it, or any of the other spring babies, new to our Napa campus.

We would be remiss to not highlight What the Owl Said, a work in our permanent collection by William T. Wiley, borrowing the poem by Michael Hannon.

listen to me, holding on

DOME STORY 1: The Dome Alligator

The Dome, a live-work project founded by Peter Voulkos, was home to many artists for the past 50 years and even, to one very special alligator!

Image shows Ann Adair Voulkous posing with the Dome's very own pet alligator, in it's habitat in the hot tub on the rooftop of the Dome, c. 1980.

The Dome's pet alligator inspired Ann Adair Voulkos' ceramic alligator series, a select few featured in The Dome Show. Pictured is Two Alligators with Capes Slow Dancing, Ann Adair Voulkos, 1993.

Stay tuned for more secret stories from the history of The Dome, or come by di Rosa SF to check them out for yourself!
