Muskegon Lake Watershed Partnership Founded in 1993, the MLWP is a non-profit, community-based, volunteer partnership organization

We are a proud group of local volunteer citizens with various backgrounds including diverse stakeholders such as environmental professionals, residents, Muskegon Lake landowners, scientists, professors, business professionals, outdoor enthusiasts, stewards, creatives, retirees and concerned citizens. It’s World Lake Day! Do something nice for our Muskegon Lake. Gather your friends and have an impromptu cleanup along the lakeshore. Walk or peddle the Lakeshore Bike Trail. Do an invasive species cleanup. (Here’s a guide on what to look for:

Enjoy the fall colors and support the Preserve at the same time! On Saturday, October 24th starting at 9am there will be a 1-mile Fall Color Walk at the Preserve.

Following the walk there will be refreshments in the Ron Brown Education Pavilion. There is a suggessted $5.00 participation donation that will help support general maintenace at the Preserve including board replacement on the boardwalks.
