Hello MLL Families,

We hope everyone is safe and continuing to recover at home.

This Saturday, we will be hosting another cleanup day at Community Fields and are looking for volunteers to help move smaller branches and limbs, as well as assist with other cleanup tasks around the fields.

If you are available to help from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, we would greatly appreciate the support. Please bring any tools or supplies you may have available at home, such as gloves, saws, or other yard equipment, as our onsite equipment is limited. We'll meet outside the MLL garage by the batting cages.

Kids are welcome this time to assist with minor types of cleanup.

What we need:
Chainsaws
Lawn rakes
Lead blowers

Hello MLL Families,

We hope you and your families continue to stay safe as our community recovers and heals from last week’s devastating storms. We’ve received several inquiries regarding the status of the Fall Ball season and wanted to provide an update.

MLL’s intention is to move forward with a Fall Ball season, and we are doing everything we can to make that possible. The park and fields sustained significant damage, but volunteers made tremendous progress clearing debris last weekend. We will be hosting another volunteer cleanup event this Saturday, 8/22, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.

At this time, we are planning to kick off the season on 8/31.

We understand that many families in our community are still dealing with the impact of the storms, and that remains top of mind for us. Our goal is to continue planning ahead and provide a positive outlet for the kids as we move forward together.

Today, we came together to clean up Community Park. It was a real mess before we started and in just two hours, we made so much progress! If you can, come on out next Saturday from 10 am - 1 pm so we can hopefully start fall ball asap!

Please note that there are still several downed trees and hanging branches in the park. For safety reasons, we ask that volunteers do not bring children to the cleanup effort.

Our 12u International team fell to Brownsburg today, 6-2. 😔

These young men left their hearts on the field as they played their final Little League game today. Majority of these boys have been together for three years.

Over the past 3 all-star seasons, they have compiled an impressive 29-6 record, including:
3️⃣ District Championships 🥇
1️⃣ State Championship 🏆
And finished this season as one of the top 4 LL teams in the state of Indiana.

We are so proud to have them represent Munster! ❤️

Our 12u International team has been rained out for tonight. 😩

Semi-final game against Brownsburg will take place at 10am EST on Tuesday. Winner plays at 2pm EST for the state championship!

The 12u International team took care of business today, beating New Castle Little League, 4-0! 🥳

The player of the game was Owen O’Connell. OO came in clutch and pitched a complete game shutout, only throwing 65 pitches, racking up 5 strikeouts! 💪

The win punches their ticket to the semi-final game tomorrow at 7:30pm EST. They will have a re-match against Brownsburg as they fight to earn a spot in the State Championship!

Our 12u International team lives to fight another day after beating Wabash Little League, 12-6. 🤩

Jaxson Rubio earned player of the game. He went 3-3 with two doubles and 3 RBIs! 💪

They take the field tomorrow against New Castle Little League at 2:30pm EST as they try to punch their ticket to the semi-finals. Let’s go Munster! ❤️
