We are 5 weeks away from our EmployHER Pittsburgh Opportunity Fair and are so excited to see you all there!

Please see the following for event details and helpful information:

🗓️ Tuesday, June 23 •11:00 am - 4:00 pm • EmployHER Pittsburgh County Opportunity Fair at Commonwealth Charter Academy
(162 Bridge Street, Homestead, PA 15120)

** Important Information

Accessibility:
This event will take place on the street/parking lot level of the school and is entirely accessible.

Food & Beverage:
Lunch and beverages will be available throughout the day for all guests.

Childcare:
Need childcare? No problem. While you participate the Opportunity Fair, your children will be in good hands thanks to our licensed childcare vendor, Pittsburgh Event Childcare. Childcare will be located in a secure room to the left of the main event area and volunteers will be able to direct folks as needed.

Clothing, Hair & Makeup and Headshots:
Swing by the Dress for Success Pittsburgh mobile boutique for wardrobe support, then visit volunteers from Ulta Beauty for hair and makeup touch-ups ahead of a free professional headshot for use on LinkedIn, etc. Photos will be emailed to participants in the weeks following the opportunity fair by our special guest photographer Anna Wolf!

Resume Review with The Adecco Group:
Looking to update your resume? Team members from Adecco will be onsite to offer resume reviews ahead of connecting with one of our hiring partners. If you already have a resume, be sure to bring it!

Coaching with Jules:
We will be joined by Personal Coach, Jules McKeown. Jules is certified in Whole Person Coaching and will be on-site to connect with participants for free coaching sessions.

Somatic Yoga with Jade Corbett:
We will offer 20-minute yoga sessions throughout the day. Sessions will be for all skill levels and physical ability and focused on emotional wellness.

Babesburgh Crafting Area:
We are so excited to have members of Babesburgh join us in leading fun and interactive crafting areas. You’ll be able to choose from 2 different crafts to take home with you.

Hey all! Check out this cool event at the bookstore featuring Mary Denison (our Executive Director), Marsha Androsik from the AIU, and Joseph Ashenden from the University of Pittsburgh. Bridging the Gap on May 27th from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.

If your child is transition from preschool early intervention to kindergarten, join this panel of child disability advocates as they share their knowledge and experience. A light dinner will be provided and all your questions answered!

The HACP hopes to see you this Friday, May 1 for the One Roof Housing Resource Fair, held at the Commonwealth Charter Academy (162 East Bridge St., Homestead, PA 15120). The event will take place from 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

This is a one-stop opportunity for guests to connect with housing resources, financial education, legal support, and real pathways forward!
