We have so much to be grateful for in these Steel Valley communities. This Parade has been one of them for many, many years. Just a few issues to be aware of for tomorrow. There will be a Port Authority Bus that will be at the line-up area to keep the kids warm before the Parade and then will be available at the end of the Parade to bring participants back to the line-up area. Please do not park in Chick's parking lot. A port-a-john will be at Three Rivers Supply for your convenience. We have a wonderful man in our area by the name of Scott D. Stevens, who will be video-taping, live streaming and taking pictures of this parade. I will be posting a live link once it is established as well as his pictures after the Parade. Rogue Barbecue Food truck will be at Valero Parking area and the Fudge Farm Food Truck will be on Amity to offer the Parade watchers some great food. Free hot chocolate in front of Dorothy Six, and Dukes will be the place to be during and after the parade. The reviewing stand is on the corner of Ann and 8th and Christmas music by DJ Shawn will be playing there before the parade begins. Smiley Cookies and drinks will be available at the end of the Parade at the Salvation Army Canteen.
We have had a few cancellations, some due to Covid and others due to staffing shortages. We haven't changed the numbers, but please be patient, there may be some confusion. All in all, it is going to be a wonderful Parade and a great send off for Mayor Esper. So, tell your family and friends to join us for what the weather-man is promising to be a delightful day!
