LifeSpan Mon Valley celebrated National Senior Center Month and National Coffee Day with coffee, coffee cake, and a walk down memory lane! ☕🍰 After lunch, our seniors shared photos and special memories before wrapping up the day with live entertainment by singer Jamie! 🎶

LifeSpan Mon Valley recently hit the road with 52 travelers for a fun-filled trip to Altoona! 🚂 The group enjoyed a train ride from Greensburg, a visit to the Altoona Curve, a sweet stop at Blair Candy Company, a delicious lunch at Prime Sirloin Buffet, and a tour of the Railroaders Memorial Museum. What a day! 🍬

LifeSpan Bethel Park recently enjoyed a visit to Hartwood Acres Mansion! 🏛️🍂 The group toured the beautiful mansion and then headed outside to explore the sculpture gardens.

Mon Valley LifeSpan recently held its 11th Annual Car Show, and what a turnout! 🚗🏁 With 182 registered cars, there were plenty of classic cars and cool rides to check out, along with 80 Chinese auction baskets, food, a bake sale, and music. Thank you to everyone (including our LifeSpan Staff) who came out and helped make this year’s show a success!

Today is Hunger Action Day. 🧡

For many older adults in our community, access to a nutritious meal isn’t something that can be taken for granted. LifeSpan Meals on Wheels works every day to help fight senior hunger by delivering meals, a friendly visit, and a wellness check to older adults throughout our communities.
