Hope2 Our focus is both physical and spiritual. We seek to provide safe drinking water to countries in need and share the love of Jesus.

HOPE2's vision is to provide safe and living water for the nations, resulting in better health, available education and stronger leaders; all culminating in a renewed sense of hope. Safe Water For All: One of the priorities for HOPE2 is to install and supply water treatment systems to countries in need. In doing so, bacteria-ridden water will be a nightmare of the past. Education & Training: Offer

ing education and training to those countries in need is instrumental in their recovery. HOPE2 currently has a school, Hope Academy, located in Margibi County, near Marshall, Liberia, Africa.

Be praying for our team in Liberia. Twelfth grade has started, they are getting ready for the rest of school to begin and Edward's brother Joel has recently arrived in Liberia. He will be helping with Sunny and Motare in overseeing the school. We believe God will use him in great ways as he is using the team in Liberia to impact the future of Liberia through these wonderful students. We appreciate your prayers and support for our mission of hope. Don't forget our banquet is October 3 this year and we will be sharing more about the great things God is doing in our ministry. To God be the glory!

Being a senior in high school is always exciting, but being a senior in Liberia brings an extra measure of joy and anticipation! Our first ever senior class at Hope Academy started school this past week in the new upper school building. The rest of the school will go back next month on September 7th, but for now these seniors embark on their final year of high school; some of whom have been with Hope Academy since it began under a tree! Every move of God that has brought our school and these students to this point is for a purpose. Be praying as God continues to raise up these Kingdom Workers to go out into their Nation as young adults!!

The following write-up is from Randy Tempest, who is the director of our annual golf tournament and a hope giver. What follows is lengthy but significant as it pays due attention to all the aspects that made this year's tournament so wonderful!

"The 16th Annual Hope 2 Watering the Thirsty Golf Outing took place on July 25, 2026, and by every measure, it was an incredible success!

The day began with perfect weather that stayed with us from start to finish. As always, Crestview Golf Club in Muncie, Indiana, was an outstanding host. A special thank you to Matt Sauter and his entire team for their hospitality and continued support year after year.

The weekend kicked off Friday evening with our annual Par 3 Tournament. Fifteen teams competed in a two-man scramble format, and the defending champions proved once again why they hold the title. Baron Martin and Gary Cravens fired an impressive 6-under-par round on the nine-hole course to capture the 2026 Hope 2 Par 3 Championship. Congratulations, gentlemen, on an outstanding performance!

Saturday's main event began with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start featuring 28 teams. While a few teams were unable to attend due to illness and scheduling conflicts, we were thrilled to have 31 teams registered this year, a testament to the continued support of this amazing cause.

The field featured a great mix of seasoned veterans, newcomers, accomplished golfers, beginners, and, most importantly, generous supporters. After 18 holes of competition, three teams sat atop the leaderboard in a tightly contested finish.

The 2026 champions were led by Trent Jeffries, who traveled more than seven hours from Iowa to support the event and our mission. Team Jeffries posted an incredible score of 47 (24-under par) to win by a single stroke. Two teams finished tied for second with rounds of 48, and after a tiebreaker that went nine holes deep, Team Baron Martin edged out Team Drew Jeffers for the runner-up spot. The competition grows stronger every year, with several teams finishing just a few shots off the lead.

To all of our golfers, thank you for the investment of your time, resources, and generosity. Your support makes a real difference. We also congratulate the winners of our five special contest holes and thank everyone who participated.

Following the tournament, golfers enjoyed a wonderful lunch catered by Mulligan's at the pavilion. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and prize donors, this year's raffle and prizes were better than ever. Four major raffle prizes included a big-screen TV, a Blackstone grill, a golf package, and an Indianapolis Colts memorabilia package signed by Colts tight end Tyler Warren, who graciously signed multiple items, including a jersey.

In addition, there were numerous prizes available, allowing all participants to take something home. To every sponsor, donor, volunteer, and supporter: thank you. Your generosity made this event unforgettable.

Broken Hearts Deaf Camp

The average deaf person in Liberia has very little ability to communicate and connect with the Hearing world around them.
The heart language of the Deaf is Sign Language, but most hearing people never learn Sign Language. Sure, some Deaf can read and write in English, but it is very difficult. Most still depend on a Signed explanation to fully understand, and their writing (most, not all) is unclear.

That silence and isolation makes the Deaf easy targets for physical abuse, theft, neglect, stigmas, undue hatred, and overall mistreatment. Who do they go to for help, defense, and justice when their family and friends do not Sign? How can they explain their troubles when they do not have a shared language with those in their home and community? How can they take their burdens to God when there has been no one to tell them that God exists and that He cares?

This Deaf Camp explained what trauma is, gave them an introduction to who God is/why they can trust Him, and tools to deal with their emotional pain, loss, grief, anger, etc.

For many, this was the first time they were able to express and share their pain. This was their first time hearing that their feelings were normal and that grief is a journey with lots of ups and downs.

The week was a wonderful start, but the work is not finished! Please pray as we begin following up with the campers and continue to walk with them on this path toward healing and a personal relationship with God.
