When God asks you to go, He always has a reason. You don't have to know His reasons to say yes, you only have to be obedient. God has called us to love as He loves, to be salt and light, to move! If He called you across the world to hold someone's hand and worship with them, would it be worth it?

Thank you to everyone who came to the Hope banquet this past weekend! We got to hear updates from Liberia, vision for Uganda, the impact of 54TEN, as well as take a trip down memory lane in a hall filled with pictures. It was an encouraging night of celebration and we are so grateful to all of you for being part of this ministry!

The school year has begun and the students are being measured for their school uniforms!

Joel has been serving in Liberia for close to two weeks and has some things to share:

"I appreciate being a member of HOPE2. I reached here August 24th safely. I have enjoyed myself here meeting new friends. The mission department where I stay now is friendly. One new friend has made me know how to read my Bible starting with books with just a few chapters. I have read 14 books within two weeks.

The education department has really been very busy with meeting teachers. We are learning to know one another. We are identifying the subject teachers and filling the gaps in curriculum delivery. We have been holding workshop training on classroom management, subjects, administrative structures and today environmental cleaning and safety of both learners and teachers. I have also seen some gaps that really are neccesary for bridging. We are now set to receive our learners on Monday. Thanks!"

Be praying for our team in Liberia. Twelfth grade has started, they are getting ready for the rest of school to begin and Edward's brother Joel has recently arrived in Liberia. He will be helping with Sunny and Motare in overseeing the school. We believe God will use him in great ways as he is using the team in Liberia to impact the future of Liberia through these wonderful students. We appreciate your prayers and support for our mission of hope. Don't forget our banquet is October 3 this year and we will be sharing more about the great things God is doing in our ministry.
