Fall is the perfect time for Ball State and Ivy Tech students to get off campus and explore Delaware County, and our new fall bucket list is full of ideas to get you started.

There are $8 tickets to the Bob Ross Experience Minnetrista Museum & Gardens with a student ID, $18 student seats at Muncie Civic Theatre, a good scare at Scarevania haunted house, and a 10-acre corn maze at Landess Farm, just to name a few.

Getting around nearby is easy, too. Students ride MITS buses free with their student ID.

The apples were delicious, and I didn't have to do any picking! Also found the Bob Ross merch inside and struck a pose next to a fellow Muncie icon with great hair.

10/10 trip!

Soup season is here!

Nearly 200 bowls are being donated by the community for this year's SOLD OUT Soup Crawl event on October 1. Among the people behind them is Muncie artist Toren Scott, owner of Made in Muncie Pottery, who has been working with clay since high school and who has a few bowls of his own still available from a batch he made last year.

Every dollar from bowl sales goes straight to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana, and you get to keep your bowl after the event!

Made in Muncie recently moved within downtown Muncie to 407 S. Walnut St. The new space is all one level making it more accessible for guests. Toren installed a large bay window so people coming into the studio can see people making or taking lessons in the throwing room.

Toren's also helping shape the ceramics scene beyond his own shop. This October, he helped organize "Muncie Ceramics," a show featuring 13+ local ceramic artists, on display at the Amaco facility in Indianapolis through December. He also has been creating his own collection of ceramic robots that are a must see!

Opening night of "The Producers" is tonight at Muncie Civic Theatre, and it's the perfect excuse to plan a date night!

Grab dinner at Trust Your Butcher Steakhouse and a Broadway-themed drink (exclusively on Sept. 26) at RoHo's Muncie downtown, or explore other tasty spots within walking distance of the theatre before the show.

Then settle in for Mel Brooks' outrageous, laugh-out-loud musical about two Broadway schemers and the flop that becomes a smash hit. Save room for dessert after, so you can talk through the best parts over something sweet.

It's not every day you need a U-Haul to move a giant Garfield across town...but that's exactly what it took to get our old Visitors Center ride to its new home at Ball State University's Worthen Arena.

Meet "The Cat-illac," now parked in front of a brand new mural Destination: Muncie helped bring to life inside the arena. It's officially the newest stop on the Garfield Trail. A big thanks to our own Jeff, Peak Sports Management's Cardinal Partnerships team, and Pridemark Construction for helping transport Garfield safely.

The community celebrated 50 years of the Old Washington Street Festival this weekend.

Artists demoed their craft, food trucks lined up, live music drifted through the historic district, and a whole neighborhood turned into one big front porch hangout.
