Meet Alex! Alex is such a bright light in our Clubhouse. He has brought so much positivity and energy to our space since joining. Alex's dedication to following the model and participating in the work-ordered day makes him a great leader to our other members, modeling the spirit of Clubhouse in a collaborative, supportive way. He works at Dakota Art Pastels and loves everything he does at his job. He is eager to be the best worker he can be in and out of Clubhouse. Come in sometime to meet Alex, and stay for lunch while you're there!

Meet our new staff member, Cameron! Cameron is new to our area. He moved here recently from Chicago, Illinois with his family consisting of his partner, cat, and puppy. He has a passion for live music, particularly his favorite band Umphrey's McGee, and also has a background in restorative justice. His friendliness and genuine interest in our Clubhouse has made him a great addition to the team. Come on in sometime to meet Cameron!

Yesterday, Clubhouses from across the country came together on Capitol Hill to speak with our Senators and Representatives about the vital role Clubhouses play in the continuum of mental health care.

Our team from HERO House NW had the opportunity to meet with members of Washington’s congressional delegation and advocate for the work Clubhouses are doing every day by creating community, purpose, connection, and meaningful opportunities for people living with serious mental illness.

We were proud to share why Clubhouses are so important, why every community deserves access to this model of support, and why continued investment in Clubhouses matters both here in Washington State and around the world.

We are grateful to be part of a movement that continues to elevate the voices of Clubhouse members and advocate for stronger, more inclusive mental health systems.
