Scouting America is testing Chipmunks, a brand new program for children ages 4 and 5 featuring playdate-style gatherings, forest animal characters and a sticker-based recognition system.

Thank you to Les Schwab Tire Centers! The Fire Mountain truck used by our Ranger needed new tires and through the Les Schwab Tires for a Purpose program Les Schwab helped us get what we needed.

Their amazing donation helps keep the truck running and allows our Ranger to safely perform his duties at camp making sure Fire Mountain is safe, fun, and exciting for the youth in our program. Thanks for the tremendous service and donation!

BP checking in, slipped away from Fire Mountain to visit the Salish Sea District Dinner and award Rachel M. her Wood Badge beads. This weekend I’m super excited to see the Day Camp leadership team, IOLS, BALOO and two packs up at camp… every scout deserves a trained leader.

The Fire Mountain Staff Alumni Association is sadden to announce the passing of two Fire Mountain Camp Staff Legends. Gary Falkner and Mike Mancer. Gary Falkner played a significant role for decades in the shooting sports programs at Camp Black Mountain and Fire Mountain. Mike Mancer served as a diligent camp commissioner for many years helping to create the legendary Pathfinders program and leading the way for many years with the WoodBadge program. We mourn the loss of these great leaders and pledge to keep the fire burning on The Mountain. Our hearts go out to their families during these difficult days.
