🌟💚 October’s Leader in Me Habit of the Month! 💚🌟
This month, our Exceptional Egrets are focusing on Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind! 🎯
This habit teaches students the importance of setting goals, making plans, and thinking ahead about what they want to accomplish. We are encouraging our students to make thoughtful choices, stay focused, and take steps toward achieving their goals!
🏡 How can you practice Habit 2 at home?
✅ Set goals together! Encourage your child to choose a goal for the week, such as reading 20 minutes each night or improving a math skill.
✅ Plan ahead! Have your child prepare their backpack, clothes, and school supplies the night before.
✅ Create a plan! Help your child break larger tasks, projects, or chores into smaller, manageable steps.
✅ Think about the outcome! Before starting an activity, ask, “What do you want to accomplish, and how will you get there?”
✅ Celebrate progress! Recognize your child’s effort and determination as they work toward their goals.
💙 Our goal is to help students understand that great things happen when we have a plan and work toward it!
We encourage all of our Egret families to practice Habit 2 at home throughout October. Together, we can help our students grow into confident, responsible leaders! 🌟
