This program does an outstanding job of bridging the gap between high school students and apprenticeships. Students gain valuable first-hand knowledge and experience from an instructor who is an IBEW Local 876 Journeyman, providing real-world insight into the industry and apprenticeship opportunities.

One of our IBEW Local 876 brothers recently suffered the devastating loss of his child. As his family grieves, they could use the support of this community. A GoFundMe has been set up to help ease some of the financial burden during this difficult time. If you're in a position to give or share, they would be grateful.

You were not only a mentor, but someone who was truly loved by everyone around you. Dale had a way of lighting up whenever he spoke about his family and friends, and it was clear how deeply he cared for those he loved.

If you wish to honor Dale, spend time with the people closest to you — because that is what meant the most to him.

It has been an honor to have you as a member of IBEW Local 876. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who knew and loved you dearly.

At IBEW Local 876, we look forward to MiCareerQuest every year! It’s a great opportunity to connect with students who are nearing graduation—individuals who will help power our future. We love seeing their excitement as they experience our trade firsthand through the exhibits. And spending time side by side PRH Group is always a blast! Let’s not forget that in the last two years (since we began participating) we’ve taken first place for our exhibit! This year's event can't come soon enough!

With the storms rolling across Michigan, we want to remind everyone to please stay clear of any downed power lines and give crews plenty of space to do their work. The sooner they can safely get in and do their jobs, the sooner the lights come back on for everyone.
These crews are out there around the clock—day and night—working hard to get power restored. If you happen to see them in your area, a little patience goes a long way… and if you’ve got an extra hot cup of Joe to spare, we’re pretty sure it wouldn’t be turned down.
A big thank you to all our brothers and sisters out there doing the work when people need it most. We appreciate everything you do to keep the lights on and our communities running strong. Stay safe out there! ⚡☕
