Music in the Park returns this Thursday, June 4th, at 5:30 pm at Island Park.

We’re opening the Summer Concert Series with Native Fireball (Extra Fire), bringing big energy to kick off the season.

Enjoy the Artist Showcase featuring local talent, kids’ games, a chance to win food from Far Out Food Truck, and conversations with community supporters including HATS, Listening Ear, Michigan Alliance for Families, Hopewell Ranch, and Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum. There’s plenty more waiting for you.

A Journey of Resilience and Results

Sean F. has been part of MMI two days a week since September 2025. He joined Community Connections to build a routine and meet new people, and he quickly became an active, engaged member of the group. Sean enjoys connecting with peers, sharing conversations, and contributing to the day.

At his recent planning meeting, the team agreed he was ready to explore work again. The timing was perfect—a position opened on the MMI recycling crew. With his background in landscaping engineering and previous work experience, it was a natural next step. His coach has already shared that Sean is learning the role quickly and contributing with confidence.

We’re excited to support Sean as he continues building his skills and moves toward employment in the community.
