Now, that preparation has led to an exciting opportunity—Sam has been invited to interview at Dollar General!

For the past several years, MMI has organized and grown Music in the Park, a free summer concert series held each Thursday at Island Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The program was created with a simple goal: bringing our community together through inclusion. Music has a unique way of connecting people, and Music in the Park has become a place where individuals and families of all abilities can gather, enjoy live entertainment, and build community.

What began as a local event has grown into a Mid-Michigan tradition. In addition to live music, each concert features activities for children, a showcase of local artists and makers, and participation from area nonprofits that help strengthen our community and support MMI's mission.

As our Beyond Barriers Campaign enters its final days, we're asking for your support. Thanks to a $10,000 matching grant from United Way of Greater Central Michigan, every dollar designated through MMI will be matched, doubling the impact of your gift.

The matching opportunity ends Monday night.
