99th Department Convention in Kalamazo is in full swing. Borley-Hanel VFW Post 3033 and Auxiliary is representing well and we got to hang out with past National President Sissy Borel from Louisana (awesome women). We got to see The Blue Star Service Dogs and they had some amazing poppy displays!

The auxiliary is pleased to announce we were the recipients of one of these grants. We received funding to replace the parking lot, sidewalk, ceiling, electrical and insulation. We are hoping to start work next week. If you have some free time we will need help with painting, demolition, cleaning and feeding the workers.

Reminder: tomorrow for 1:30-4 is Ruth Ayris Celebration of Life. All post and auxilairy members are invited to attend and participate which would also honor Ivan Ayris and Terry Russell . We will hold the aux. service first followed by a meal.
