Earlier today, at approximately 11:38 hours, Rescue 1 was returning from another call when they were alerted to the 1000 block of East Ridgeville Blvd for a trailer fire. Rescue 1 arrived to find a trailer from a tractor trailer on fire. The trailer had previously been involved in an accident, and materials inside the trailer had begun smoldering before catching fire.
Crews quickly worked to extinguish the fire and prevent further damage. There were no reported injuries. Chief 1-2, Tanker 1, Brush 15 and Howard Engine 41 assisted as well.
