Our rescue is active in Maryland, Northern Virginia, D.C., and south central Pennsylvania. We are a group of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and placing German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes in good homes.

Auri hasn’t had the stability that she has hoped for. For unfortunate reasons beyond her control, she has been surrendered twice. But don’t let that taint your opinion of this beautiful girl!

Auri is what you think of when you hear German Shepherd— intelligent, loyal, and independent. She might take a little time to fully warm up to you, but once she does, she’s yours!

If you’re looking for a pup who is past the puppy stages, knows what it’s like to live in a home, and who will be as loyal to you as you are to her, look no further. Amazing Auri is ready to find her forever home. ❤️

Beautiful Shania is still waiting for someone to see just how special she truly is.

This gorgeous girl has so much love, energy, and potential to give! Shania can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but give her some time, patience, and a chance to feel safe, and you’ll discover a fiercely loyal companion who bonds deeply with her person.

Shania LOVES being active! Whether it’s going for walks, playing with her toys, or romping around outside, she’s always ready for an adventure. She might even make the perfect running or agility partner!

Her dream home? A calm, adult-only household with someone who understands that trust takes time, structure builds confidence, and the most rewarding relationships aren’t always formed overnight.

Right now, Shania is spending her days in a kennel. While the staff give her all the love they can, what she really deserves is a home of her own. A person to call hers. A place where she can finally settle in and shine. Somewhere out there is Nia’s person. Could it be you?
