Hey folks! Love animals, want to help our community and the pets they love? The Foundation is looking to add a treasurer to our Board of Directors. Have accounting experience? Looking for ways to volunteer locally? If you have grant writing experience, added bonus. Our mission as a non-profit is to raise money to help our new Burke County Animal Services help our community. Responsible Pet Ownership programs, TNR, vaccine clinics, low cost spay/neuter assistance, pet food pantry, and more. If you think you might be interested, message us here. We'd love to have a more detailed conversation.

Dropped off a car load of pet food for the Pet Pantry at Burke County Animal Services. Just in time because the pantry was bare. Food Lion has small 3 # bags of dog and cat food on sale. If you can spare it, next time you're at the grocery please pick up a bag or few and drop them off at the shelter. Helping families who might be struggling to keep their pets!
