Community Pour for a Cause 🍻❤️

In light of the recent news involving a co-owner of Sycamore Brewing, we want to be transparent with our customers and our community.

We currently have a significant amount of Sycamore Brewing product on hand. We attempted to return the product, but the distributors will not be buying it back. Rather than let it go to waste, we’ve chosen to turn this situation into something positive.

50% of all proceeds from Sycamore Brewing pours will be donated directly to Options Women & Children’s Shelter in Morganton, North Carolina.

Options provides vital services, safety, and support for women and children right here in our community, and we’re proud to stand behind them.

Thank you for supporting local businesses, transparency, and doing some good together.

Shelter Manager

Full time
Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm

Pay range $12-$15 per hour
Duties

Schedule and supervise shelter staff
Maintain a clean and safe shelter
Advocate for domestic violence and sexual assault victims and survivors
Answer crisis line
Crisis intervention and safety planning
Case management
Community education
Skills

Bachelors degree in psychology, social services, human services or related field preferred
Experience in domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy preferred
organized, leadership skills, compassionate, and good listener

This position will provide support on administering and monitoring sexual assault and domestic violence grants and programs. This is a part-time position (20-25 hours per week). This position is supervised by the Executive Director. Flexible schedule with some remote work when feasible.
