REACHgathering Unified and strategic effort to see the gospel through sports, recreation, and fitness ministry.

REACHgathering is unified, and strategic effort birthed from a desire to catalyze and further unite the movement of gospel centered, reproducing local church sports, rec, and fitness ministries and ministers (both vocational and volunteer)in local churches. The hope fueling these efforts is that each attendee would leave the REACHgathering:

• INSPIRED
• AFFIRMED
• CONNECTED and
• EQUIPPED

UNLEASHING them to “forget what lies behind and REACH forward to what lies ahead.” (Pp 3:12-14)

He is risen.

The tomb is empty.
Death has been defeated.
Hope is alive.

What began on the cross did not end in the grave. The story didn’t stop on Friday... it rose again on Sunday.

Because He lives, everything has changed.
Forgiveness is possible.
New life is available.

It is finished.
Not defeated. Not forgotten. Not incomplete.

At the cross, Jesus completed what no one else could.
Every burden… carried.
Every sin… accounted for.
Every barrier between God and people… removed.

What looked like the end was actually the fulfillment of a promise.
A moment of surrender that opened the door to hope for all.

“It is finished.” - John 19:30

Day 3 at REACHGathering 26 has been truly inspiring! ✨

We were encouraged by Dr. Sam Rainer, who shared important stats and reminded us of the deep need families and communities have to find a place where they belong. Sports and recreation ministries aren’t just activities - they’re a bridge to connection, hope, and meaningful relationships.

Thank you, Sam, for your wisdom, preparation, and heart for ministry. We’re excited for the day ahead and all the ways God will continue to move through these moments together!
