At Rodney Scout Reservation, our campfires are legendary. The Rodney Staff work hard to put together the very best skits and songs for the Opening Campfire. Then at the end of the week, it's time for the Troops to take the stage!

Our Campfire Amphitheater overlooks the Chesapeake Bay, just in time for the sunset!

Rodney Scout Reservation is the only Scout camp on the Chesapeake Bay. Offering more than 60 merit badges, there's something for every Scout at Rodney.

A place like no other

At Rodney Scout Reservation Summer Camp, Scouts can have experiences like nowhere else. Watching sunsets over the Bay, climbing the tower, and testing your accuracy on the ranges. Scouts make memories for life at Rodney.

For more than a century, Rodney has been the premier summer camp on the Chesapeake Bay. Featuring 13 program areas and more than 60 merit badges, there's something for every Scout.

First year campers can participate in the Brownsea program, setting them up for success on their Scouting journey.
Older Scouts can join ACE (the Advanced Camper Experience), to test their skills.

Did you know Leaders who complete BALOO trainings are better prepared to plan pack den and pack overnight events? This course is designed as an introduction to the Cub Scout outdoor program for those leaders who are interested in adding a camping component to their Den or Pack activities.

Join us on Saturday, October 24th for our annual Cub Scout Family Adventure Day. The Del-Mar-Va Council's largest Cub Scout event of the year!

Whether your family is brand new to Scouting or you're a long-time attendee, there's fun to be had at Rodney Scout Reservation this fall. Spend a Saturday exploring the outdoors, on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay!

At Bull Mountain Studios, Scouts can create their next masterpiece! Offering Wood Carving, Leatherworking, Sculpture, Moviemaking, Photography, Animation, and more! Or stop by during sunset program for tie dying, branding, and more!

Bull Mountain Studios is Rodney Scout Reservation's handicraft area at summer camp. Offering traditional handicraft Merit Badges, as well as focusing on technology, Bull Mountain Studios lets every Scout be the artist.

Introducing the 2026-2027 Del-Mar-Va Council Winter Camper Patches, featuring the American Black Duck.

The American Black Duck is native to the Del-Mar-Va peninsula, nesting in wetlands. During their migration, they frequently spend time in bays, ponds, and marshes!

Available in store at Rodney Scout Reservation, or through our online store.
The Rodney Trading Post is open on weekends throughout the school when camp is open, and during summer camp!
