Today we’re honoring the Union County chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Alpha Alpha Chi Omega for showing up for our youth in a way that can’t be measured, only felt.
Because of Dr. Stephanie Hunter‑Brown, President Elect, her sorors, and their incredible friends continue to make AO a priority & have CLEARED the Anderson Outreach Christmas Wishlist & purchase tons of gifts for youth who are spending the holidays in psychiatric residential treatment facilities —many of them without family, without visitors, and without anyone asking what they want for Christmas. 🎁
These aren’t “just gifts.”
They are proof to our youth that they matter. They aren’t forgotten. They are worthy of happiness, surprises & joy, not just at Christmas 🎄 but all year long.
For young people walking through some of the hardest chapters of their lives, a Christmas gift can be the moment that sparks hope, restores wonder, and reminds them that the world still holds goodness. It can shift how they see themselves—and that can change the trajectory of a lives. ✨
What we’re most grateful for is the continued support of this groundbreaking chapter & their continued support for all of our initiatives.
They give generously, and often behind the scenes. No spotlight needed. Just service, sisterhood, and love in action. 💚💗
From all of us at Anderson Outreach, your Sorors who serve alongside and from every child who will open a gift because of you—thank you for your partnership with us. 🎄🙏🏽🩷💚🩷💚
If you’re wondering whether giving matters… this is your sign. 💫
