Please see below a message from our Auxiliary President, Jackie Gonzalez ---

We are excited to get our Auxiliary meetings back up and running! We will see everyone Thursday, September 10 and look forward to another great year of fun, fellowship and supporting our Veterans and community.

Meetings: 2nd Thursday of each month; dinner at 6:30 pm; meeting at 7:30 pm (approximately one hour)

2026 Membership Dues: $40 - Dues collection will begin at our September meeting. Please see Pam or Jackie to pay your dues.

And, don't forget: We are hosting S**g on Saturday, September 12th! If you are available to help us host, decorate, or lend a hand, please let Jackie know. We'd love to have you there!

Let's make this another amazing year for our Auxiliary! Can't wait to see everyone on September 10th!

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who donated school supplies on behalf of American Legion Post 27. Thanks to your generosity, we collected even more donations this year to support students in Union County Public Schools.
Your kindness will help local students start the school year prepared and ready to learn. Thank you for making a difference in our community!

Please be reminded that our Auxiliary is participating in a school supply drive for students in Union County Public Schools. Your donation of school supplies for needy students would be greatly appreciated. Donations are due to the Post by Monday, July 27, 2026. Please check the Post 27 or Auxiliary page for more information. As always, we are striving to make a positive and meaningful difference in our community by our actions. Our Legion Auxiliary would like to ask if you could participate in a very worthy effort that will benefit students at Union County Public Schools. We are collecting supplies for students for the upcoming school year. The supplies will mostly be provided to the students at the county's Title I schools which have large populations of lower income families.

In addition to those items on the flyer, the teacher lists include crayons, color pencils, erasers, glue sticks, boxes of tissue, paper towels, and zip lock baggies in all sizes.

The Auxiliary will place a bin for donations at the post. Please bring donations by Monday, July 27, 2026.

Your donation of school supplies for needy students would be greatly appreciated. As always, we are striving to make a positive and meaningful difference in our community by our actions. Thank you for being a part of this effort!!

The Auxiliary was very proud and honored to sponsor the residents of Royal Park of Matthews Rehabilitation and Health Center to our post this Saturday, April 25. We sang, we danced and we played bingo! It was truly a wonderful time. Thank you to all of our volunteers who made this event possible.
