Continuing to carry the torch after our father passed away as a crisis ministry and gathering house.

Drawing closer to God each day and do as he calls big or small. Engine House was originally started by my late father Ward(Pete)Adams in Arizona. It was designed to utilize all the crises training my father gained through the years of being both a member and chief of various fire departments. He wanted to give children the knowledge so they weren’t so fearful of firefighters as well as train others on how to work through and help others in a crises situation, emotional first aid if you will. Engine House 87 has been resurrected and lifted up from the ashes as a crises ministry doing and going as God leads. Part of our goal is to Help communities and other ministries near and far while providing a network of tools and resources hopefully with a smidge of hospitality.

A good read! A book about YWAM (Youth With A Mission) but as they put it quite well a book that shows the art of listening to God as we seek to be used by Him. There are examples all throughout scripture as well, 1 Samuel comes to mind.

Some say we have Flashbacks when we die. I wouldn't know I haven't been there but something came to my mind. If we are in a relationship, if we have a spouse...we could only hope that that spouse would go before us so they wouldn't have to go through the grueling pain of losing us. However, what would we want our spouses flash backs to be of us? Makes one think about time and effort. Do we put the effort and humility into our relationship that we should ? Do we take the time to learn a trade or hobby the other likes?(teamwork, allows both to lead, interest, and bonding)

A day to meditate on scripture...Colossians 2 . One particular thing that stood out heavily to me Verse 8: Beware that no one shall be despoiling you through philosophy and empty seduction, in accord with human tradition, in accord with the elements of the world, and not in accord with Christ, for in Him the entire complement of the Deity is dwelling bodily. And you are complete in Him..... Something to ponder. What steps do you need to take to build a tighter relationship directly with God?

He said, "A staff" and he said, "Throw it on the ground." What can we learn from the life of Moses? Leader vs Student, God's abilities through us, Faith, Prayer, self control, endurance?
