Located in Charlotte, NC

This is Baby Jane Doe ❤️

She is approximately 8 months old, spayed female, and would love a home without dogs. She does very well with children and seems easily adaptable to other kitties. She was found a few weeks ago wandering around Avalon Apartments construction site in Pineville and no one claimed her. She is very sweet and playful! She loves doing "uppies", and is a big snuggler. She is medium haired and calico. FeLV/FIV Negative, microchipped and dewormed.

Funds needed for medical case!

Annie was an owner surrender recently due to her owner no longer wanting her. She is the absolute sweetest girl. We recently noticed food was coming out of her nose and she was having trouble breathing. Although she is only 4 years old, her dental disease is incredibly severe, and she has oronasal fistulas forming between her teeth and nasal passages. She is undergoing oral surgery to have the majority of her teeth removed so she can feel better, breathe better, and eat better! These procedures are very expensive, and every dollar goes directly to her medical care!

MEDICAL FUND

Vecna - 10 week old, male flame point Siamese mix

Vecna unfortunately needs a forelimb amputation when he is big enough to handle the surgery. Vecna has previous trauma to his front right leg, and the growth plate on his ulna is fused and no longer growing. This is causing his radius to out-grow his ulna causing a limb deformity, and the bones to bow out laterally. Currently his left ulna is measuring 8 mm longer than his right. The decision to amputate was to keep him from living with chronic pain. We have consulted 2 different board-certified orthopedic surgeons on this.

The cost of this surgery is around $1,200-1,500. We are currently in a bit of a financial drought as donations are few and far between. Donating even $5 could help us pay for our medical cases and allow us to remain open and continue to rescue pets.

Adoption fee has been sponsored!

Cora and Pudge (a.k.a. Myers)

7 months old

These two kitties are some of our favorites we have ever had. They are incredibly sweet, kind, and amazing with other pets. They love to play, and also love to cuddle. They are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and very healthy.

We'd love for them to be adopted together, but they have been with us since September and they truly deserve homes even if its separate from each other.

Please, serious inquiries only. These kitties have been stood up time and time again.

Kitten Update 1/30/26

We decided to name them Vecna and Eleven :)

Vecna, the little white male, we are pretty confident is deaf. Although it is not too surprising with him being all white with blue eyes. His xrays of his front right leg are pointing towards premature closure of a growth plate on his ulna, causing the radius to outgrow the ulna causing it to bow and become unaligned. For now we are giving him a tiny supportive bandage because he is walking on the top of his paw. He may need surgery to correct the limb in the future to avoid chronic pain.

Eleven is our little Siamese mix. She is super spunky! Loves to play and explore. Unlike Vecna, both of her legs are effected but in a different way. Since Eleven's are bilateral and symmetrical deformities, it may suggest inappropriate nutrition causing bone weakness and poor growth. Our hope is with time, supportive care, and a healthy diet, it will work itself out!

Despite their challenges, they are doing well! We are currently waiting to hear back from the orthopedic surgeon for recommended next steps for both of them.

We will continue to post updates, and if you wish to donate to their medical fund, visit our website at www.steviessaviors.org

Kitten Update!

Tiny babies are settling in well. They will be getting radiographs done today to try to get a better understanding of their deformities. We will likely be splinting theyre legs to give them support and encourage the bones to straighten out. Luckily they are rather unphased by their condition and are always playing and bouncing around!

Urgent medical case!

These two kittens are approximately 5 weeks old and are currently eating gruel. They were found on a porch, reportedly abandoned by their mother. Reunification attempts were made, but the mother did not return. With severe winter weather approaching, the finder brought them to the shelter. Due to the immediate weather risk, the kittens were placed with a foster for the weekend.

The Lynx point kitten has severely bowed front legs, and the white kitten has a leg that’s formed wrong and it bears weight on the elbow area. Both the kitten’s back legs seem off.

We are raising funds to provide veterinary care for two kittens diagnosed with angular limb deformities. This condition affects proper bone growth and can lead to pain, impaired mobility, and long-term complications if left untreated.

Donations will be used for diagnostic imaging, orthopedic evaluation, treatment (including splinting or surgery if indicated), and follow-up care during their growth period. Early intervention is critical to improving function and long-term quality of life.

Thank you for supporting the medical care these kittens need.

Update: pending adoption!

Gastonia, NC

In need of foster/potential adopter
Brie Cheese ❤️

Brie is a 3 year old (now) spayed female Chihuahua that presented to Gaston County Animal Control for dystocia with a puppy stuck in her birthing canal. Due to Brie needing emergency surgery, the wonderful staff at Wilkinson Animal Hospital took her into surgery immediately. Unfortunately, none of her puppies made it but Brie is doing very well now that she's a few weeks post-op. The team has reported that she is super sweet and loving. She likes to play and is a pretty easy going dog. They are unsure how she is around children but she seems to do well with other small dogs.

If interested in being a foster/adopter, please fill out an application on our website www.steviessaviors.org

If interested in fostering, please put that in the section at the top of the information and n/a to questions that do not apply. Pets in the home must be up to date on exam, vaccines and HW test.
