Our belief and the foundation of our vision is that resources deployed apart from the correct understanding of the word of God, and a keen understanding of culture, are often wasted and often actually reinforce the problems that are undermining the success of any society. We feel called to pioneer and employ a holistic approach to ministering

to orphans and widows that begins with sound biblical wisdom and incorporates the best practices in humanitarian aid. If we can successfully combine these two approaches without compromising God's principles, we can make an impact that will speak for itself and encourage local communities to adopt those principles. The biblical instructions God gave us for the family, and individuals, are the building blocks of society as He intended it to be. When biblical wisdom in those two things are neglected, any society is certainly doomed to self-destruction. David Nixon
