Happy 100th Birthday to a true American hero, Navy Veteran Ogden Saik!
Today, we honor a remarkable milestone as Mr. Saik turns 100 years old. Belonging to the Greatest Generation, he answered the call to serve our nation during World War II, putting duty and country above all else.
Thank you, Mr. Saik, for your brave service, your sacrifice, and the incredible legacy you continue to build.

VFW Post 4421 is looking for outstanding Walton County School District - GA educators for our 2026 Teacher of the Year awards!

Help us recognize the teachers who are not only educating our students but also helping build the next generation of responsible and engaged citizens.

We will recognize ONE teacher from each level in the Walton County School District:

VFW POST 4421 MEETING DATE CHANGE

Please note that the regular monthly meeting of VFW Post 4421 has been changed from our usual first Monday schedule.

🇺🇸 The next regular meeting will be Monday, September 14.

The change is due to the Labor Day holiday falling on the first Monday of September.

We look forward to seeing our members on September 14! 🇺🇸

Veterans Helping Veterans — A Wonderful Story of Giving Back 🇺🇸

Recently, the family of a deceased Army veteran generously donated several pieces of health equipment to VFW Post 4421. Among the items was a scooter that was practically like new, but after sitting unused for some time, it needed new batteries—and the key was missing.
One of our 4421 veterans stepped up, purchased the needed parts, and put the scooter back into tiptop condition. Last week, Post 4421 had the privilege of donating that scooter to one of our 82-year-old Vietnam veterans, who was more than grateful for the gift.
According to his family, he is already enjoying riding around his neighborhood, getting some fresh air and taking in the sounds of nature.
This is what being part of a veteran family is all about—veterans helping veterans and a community coming together to make a difference.
A heartfelt thank-you to the family who donated the equipment and to our 4421 veteran who made sure this scooter could once again be enjoyed. Most of all, we’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to a Vietnam veteran who gave so much to our country.

What a Night at Post 4421! 🎶

Last night’s first karaoke night at Post 4421 was a huge success—and so much fun! It was great to see so many different generations come together, sing, laugh, and enjoy a wonderful evening.

With all the fun and positive response, another karaoke night is definitely in the works! 🎤🎶

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make our first night so special!
