We had the honor of preparing 120 meals for the residents of the Ronald McDonald House in Atlanta. We prepared the meal under the supervision of two wonderful chefs. It looked and smelled delicious. We pray that the food blesses each person who enjoys it, and they have a speedy recovery.

✨ While Dr. Sims is certainly not a new face at Harmony, we're excited to celebrate her in a new role!

After serving as our incredible Instructional Coach this past year, Dr. Sims will be stepping into the role of Assistant Principal for the 2026–2027 school year.

Her passion for students, dedication to supporting teachers, and commitment to our school community have already made a lasting impact. We are thrilled that she will continue leading, inspiring, and helping Harmony grow in this new position.

We prepared 250 patriotic goodie bags for our local public servants in honor of America's 250th Birthday. We delivered to the Walton County Sheriff's Department, City of Monroe Police Department, City of Monroe Fire Department, and three more county fire departments. Everyone was very appreciative of the snacks, and it made our hearts very happy to serve them!

The GFWC Monroe Junior Woman's Club awards 8 senior young ladies in Walton County with a scholarship - two young ladies from each of the public high schools. Congratulations to the following young ladies who are leaders and volunteers in their communities.

Reusable Mugs - Did you know that 16 Billion paper cups are used each year. If only 1% of us used reusable mugs, we would save an average of 65,000 trees per year. The members of the MJWC would like to challenge each of you to replace the paper cups this week with a reusable one. Many establishments offer a discount to bring in your own cup. This picture represents our members who had their reusable cups at our last meeting. Will you accept our challenge to save trees and our landfills?

It’s a wrap! What an amazing day for the Mistletoe in Monroe Tour of Homes.

A special thank you to the homeowners who went ABOVE and BEYOND to open their amazing homes for such a good cause!

Also, a huge thank you to the local sponsors and the INCREDIBLE group of volunteers from our club and the fabulous group from Monroe Walton Center for the Arts.

The proceeds from this event are poured right back into a wide array of programs that benefit so many Walton County residents.
