We appreciate Ellen Dowling, Environmental Educator for the City of Monroe, for joining us as guest speaker this week. Through presentations, festivals, and online platforms, Ellen educates the community about stormwater runoff and promotes effective pollution prevention measures.

We were honored to welcome guest speaker, Peter Rubino, at our club meeting Thursday afternoon. Peter is an internationally acclaimed sculptor, author, art educator, and Navy Veteran. Thank you, Peter, for sharing your history, art, and passion for our veterans.

Congratulations 2026 Kiwanis of Monroe Scholarship recipients! 🎓🌟

Our scholarship is open to all Union County seniors and has no academic, financial, or athletic eligibility requirements. However, we favor those students who volunteer service and demonstrate community engagement.

Thank you to the members of our scholarship committee for taking the time to review numerous applications, interview the finalists, and make some very tough decisions.
