Folks! October 31 is right around the corner, which means it’s time to get those Food and Farm Trail prize redemption forms in! 🎃

We’ve simplified things! Your Trail Guide lists separate prize tiers for 10+ and 20+ stamps, but we say the more, the merrier! Everyone who collects 10+ stamps BY OCTOBER 31 is now eligible for the full Trail prize pool! 🎉

How to redeem:
In person: October 31 at the Clark Fork Farmers Market is your LAST CHANCE to redeem in person and pick up your market tote on the spot! Find the Farm Connect booth, and our staff will take it from there.

Online: Can’t make it to an in person redemption event in Missoula? No worries! Complete our online redemption form by October 31 to be entered into the Trail prize drawings and reserve your market tote. We’ll follow up with alternate tote pick up options after Oct 31st!

A hearty bunch of farm stand lovers joined us last weekend to visit the farmers along our Bike to Barns route! 🚲❄️

As the Bike to Barns season wraps up, we want to extend a big thank you to everyone who participated! We’ve heard great feedback from both riders and farmers, and we’re so glad this season brought our community together to explore, connect with, and support local farms.

A special shoutout to our friends at for warming up our chilly crew with a delicious meal after the ride. Nothing beats good food and community after a cold day on the bike! 🫶

The CoBuild Summit is almost here. 🌱 Farm Connect office update!! 🌱

If you’ve been following along with us this year (and we know you have), you know one of the goals for our staff has been to better utilize our office space while appreciating the land and history of the historic ranch our office sits on!

From pruning sessions and soil health workshops to our most recent cover crop demo with our friends at MSU Missoula County Extension, it’s been a year of learning, tending, and getting our hands in the soil right here at the office!

We’re excited to see how a year of tending and a season of cover cropping will impact our test site. Here’s hoping for double the veggies next year! 🥕🥬

It looks like Mother Nature has decided to make this year’s Bike to Barns a true adventure! Rain, snow, or shine, the ride is on and we’re ready to make the most of it 🚴‍♀️

A few things to keep in mind as you prepare:
⭐ Bundle up! Hats, gloves, warm layers, and rain gear are highly recommended.
⭐ Consider bringing an extra set of clothes to change into after the ride.
⭐ If you’re biking, make sure your bike is ready to handle wet or snowy conditions.

Not feeling the bike ride? No problem! Carpooling and alternative transportation options will be available as another way to do the ride. We’d love to have you join us however you can!

Join us October 11th for our Bike to Barns group ride! We’ll meet at Tower Gardens at 10 AM, ride together, and then meet back at Tower Gardens for good grub, tunes, and a prize raffle! 🎶 🎟️

Okay, you know about our Bike to Barns self guided tour, but have you heard about the group ride?! 🚲

For the second year in a row, Farm Connect is bringing everyone together for a celebration ride on October 11th at 10 AM, starting and ending at Tower Gardens!

We’ll take a spin through the Orchard Homes neighborhood with Farm Connect staff, stopping along the way to hear from local farmers. Come ready with all your burning farmer questions! 👩‍🌾🚜

After the ride, we’ll head back to Tower Gardens for food trucks, drinks, live music, and a prize raffle - because what’s a bike ride without a little celebration?

And the best part? No separate ticket is needed! Your Bike to Barns registration gets you access to both the self-guided tour and the group ride.
