The Minnetonka MN Radio Club meets every 2nd Monday of the month at 10:00 AM, at the Minnetonka MN community center, however during the summer months we like to meet outside typically at the Meadow park in Minnetonka.

It looks good for another outdoor meeting of the Minnetonka Minnesota Amateur Radio Club so we will again be outside (unless rain is actually happening). We will gather at the picnic pavilion at Meadow park. This pavilion is easily reached from an ample parking lot, however, it only 4 small picnic tables so if you can bring your own chair that would be a good idea. The meeting will be at the regular time of 10:00 AM on Monday August 10, 2026.

To get to Meadow park take Plymouth road north from Minnetonka Blvd, Plymouth road T’s onto Minnetonka Blvd so you cannot go the wrong way. One block north take a left onto Oakland Road (as if going to the Burwell House) and continue north. About 1/3 mile after crossing the railroad tracks you will see the park entrance on the right (east). Also, because I can reach 146.520 (no tone) where I can provide a talk in to help you along if needed.

Hope to see many of you there. Should there be rain we will revert to the normal indoor location at the Minnetonka Community Center. If you have a question that morning (after 9:30AM) call on the talk in frequency of the 2 meter simplex 146.520.

Remember the August 10, 2026 meeting will be in the park!

Rather than have all of you melt in the expected heat plan on meeting indoors for the next meeting of the Minnetonka Minnesota Amateur Radio Club on July 14, 2026.

The Minnetonka Minnesota Amateur Radio Club meets in the Oak Knoll room at the Minnetonka Community Center. The monthly meeting will be on Monday July 114 at 10:00AM as usual.

Net a member, no problem everyone is welcome so swing on by and see what we are all about. In the past we have helped a number of people get their ham radio license, so do not let that stop you.

The Community center is just north of Minnetonka Blvd, one light west of I494 and we are in the Oak Knoll room on the lower level. As always, you do not need to be a ham radio operator to join us.
Hope you can all make it on Monday March 10, 2025 at 10:00AM. Talk in should be available on the 2 meter simplex freq of 146.520 starting about 15 minutes prior to the meeting.

Due to the weather forecast cratering for The June 8 Monday meeting I am changing the location to the community center. Thus,

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter and the weather is warming up. However, the forecast for our meeting date is not good so we will be inside for the April meeting of the Minnetonka Minnesota Amateur Radio Club on April 13, 2026 in our normal room. Warmer weather is still afoot so let us plan some outdoor activities, and prepare for out outdoor meetings as spring progresses.
