Up Dog Tanzania Please help protect the endangered African wild dog. To learn more about the wild dogs or to DONATE please go to: http://updogtz.org/.

Up Dog is a nonprofit organization based in Minnesota. The mission of Up Dog is to re-establish populations of the endangered African wild dog in Tanzania. Across Africa only 3,000-5,500 dogs remain; Tanzania supports one-third of Africa's total wild dog population. The number of wild dogs is continually decreasing due to various threats. Humans are a leading predator of the wild dogs. Furthermore

, disease has ravaged the wild dog packs and facilitated a precipitous decrease in the specie’s population size. Up Dog provides funding to current research projects that aim to protect and reinstate the African wild dog population in Tanzania. Funds will educate locals, buy radio-collars for tracking the dogs, and, eventually, assist in repopulating dens. Donating to Up Dog enables the continuation and betterment of future African wild dog conservation. Please visit updogtz.org to donate now.
