Our Annual Say Boo to the Flu will be October 21st from 4-7pm. Don’t miss out on the free flu shots, free dinner, and the Scholastic book fair!

What is the Boo to the Flu event?
It’s an annual event held at the school, when families can come to the gym to get their free flu shot - both parents/caregivers and kids. We will have free dinner for everyone that comes. And during the flu shot clinic, there will also be the Scholastic Book Fair in the school auditorium.

Monday, October 5th is Chalk the Walk in Kindness: We welcome kids and grownups to join us by the main entrance of Waite Park at 5:30pm to Chalk the Walk in Kindness. We’ll cover the sidewalks around school with colorful art, kind words, and encouraging messages to welcome everyone for Walk, Bike, Roll to School Day on October 7th! We bring the chalk and you can bring your creativity! Come make some sidewalk magic and spread a little kindness along the way! 🌈✨

Thursday, September 17th is the first PTA Meeting of the school year! 6:30-7:30pm in the Waite Park Rec Center. Come on by to meet families and hear about all the fun stuff coming up this year!

We will get an update from Principal McGinness, talk about upcoming PTA events, eat dinner and chat with other adults.* While the kids are in another room playing with a babysitter, we get updates from Community Education and Mpls Parks. Please come and share any thoughts, ideas or questions you have, if you’d like.

* We repeat, dinner, snacks & childcare will be provided.
