Spark-Y on Minnesota Live 🎥🌱

Our Executive Director Zach and Senior Apprentice Jonah joined KSTP this morning to talk about Spark-Y, our Pathways program, and the work our youth are doing in sustainability. We are so proud of them!

Thank you to the KSTP Minnesota Live team for having us on the show. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our work and for the kindness you showed our team. 💚

A look back at Spark-Y’s Summer Open House! 🌱

We had a wonderful evening celebrating our 2026 summer apprentices and everything they accomplished throughout the season. Our apprentices presented the projects they worked on, shared what they learned, and showed the creativity, problem-solving, and hard work they brought to each experience. Guests also had the opportunity to explore their projects, tour Spark-Y HQ and our makerspace, and hear directly from our youth.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special. We’re incredibly proud of our apprentices and grateful to everyone who supported them throughout the summer! 💚☀️

What an incredible month at Dual Citizen Brewing! 💚🍻

Throughout July, we had the chance to share more about Spark-Y’s work, display our aquaponics system, play environmental trivia, listen to great live music (.trips.music !), enjoy some tasty drinks, and meet so many wonderful people in the community! We ended the month with the Dual Purpose Games, where teams took on six games, competed for the championship trophy, and had a lot of fun along the way!

A huge shoutout to Dual Citizen for being such an amazing partner and supporting Spark-Y throughout the entire month. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, played trivia, joined us for the games, donated, or helped spread the word. We are so grateful to everyone who made this month so special! 🌱✨

The Native Landscapes team just walked in. B**r & Bikes is already bellowed up to the bar. Our bartender is lightly disgruntled, tensions are rising, and the Dual Purpose Games haven’t even started yet.

Who will take the championship this year? We don’t know. It could be YOU! What we do know is that we’ll have a ref at every station and we’re leaving the bartending to the professionals at

Assemble your team and join us on July 25th!
