FreedomWorks Reentry & Recovery Community

FreedomWorks Reentry & Recovery Community A post-prison reentry & recovery ministry helping men integrate back into society after incarceration or CD treatment.

FreedomWorks was founded in 2003 as a 501(c)3 by Fred Peterson and other men that lead a Bible Study in Lino Lakes Prison. Located in North Minneapolis, the FreedomWorks Campus focuses on creating a safe and encouraging living environment that guides men into new relationships, positive support systems, and Christ- centered studies. This environment is based on the following biblical principles:

Honesty: the ability to know when you’re off- track

Humility: reaching out and asking for help

Confession: speaking the truth out loud

Reconciliation: making things right

Gratitude: giving back

We offer pro-social program opportunities that lead to transformation in life & relationships. Individuals who have been enslaved by addictions & criminal behaviors are having the opportunity to walk in true freedom.

✨ A Special Duncan Family Evening

We’re honored to welcome Elder Larry Duncan as our guest speaker for a powerful night of worship and encouragement.

Worship will be led by members of the Duncan family, including Chef Duncan, Kenny Duncan, and Britt Jackson, as we prepare our hearts for God’s Word.

With over 30 years of experience as an Ordained Elder, Licensed Professional Counselor, and community advocate, Elder Duncan has dedicated his life to helping people overcome addiction, trauma, incarceration, and brokenness.
