BIG NEWS for hockey in North Minneapolis! 🏒 We're thrilled to announce that the North Minneapolis Hockey and Figure Skating Program at North Commons has been selected to receive a grant from the Minnesota Wild Foundation through their 2025-26 Grant Program!
This support means new certified helmets, safe goalie gear, composite sticks, indoor ice time, and rides to and from the rink for our players — everything our kids need to play the game safely and keep coming back season after season. Last year our program grew 40%, and with partners like the Minnesota Wild Foundation, we're just getting started.
Thank you to the Wild Foundation for believing in North Side hockey and helping us Create a Greater State of Hockey — right here at North Commons. 💚
