May 2023, 15 year old Marleisha Davenport was riding in a vehicle in north Minneapolis when someone opened fired on the vehicle. Marleisha unfortunately was hit and later died. To date no one has been held accountable for her death. If you have any information that may lead to an arrest please contact 800-222-8477. Remembering Adairan Davis, age 56 at the time of his death in 2021. Adairan was found by a community member in the 4600 block of Aldrich Avenue North. Adairan suffered from a gun shot wound and later passed away at the hospital. To date no one has been held accountable for his death. Remembering Tyra Terry. Tyra was 15 years old when she was shot and killed while hangouts with other teenagers in August 2024 in Minneapolis. Tyra’s story is a story of what could happen when teens have access to fi****ms. Tyra’s life was cut too short at an age where there was an abundance of possibilities ahead of her! Today we remember her, forever 15, Tyra Terry.

Let us make it clear; yesterday we made a remembrance post of some individuals hurt or killed by gun violence. We will continue to do remembrance post over time, however, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get everyone in one posting!

If you have a friend or family member you would like remembered OR highlighted here, please send us a DM of the person along with a picture if you have one and we are happy to share! That is why this page was created to remember and Be the Voice for those who no longer have a voice. We are not intentionally leaving anyone out of being remembered.

Remembering Marquisha “Kiki” Wiley. Kiki, 27 at the time, was a victim of a mass shooting at the Truck Park bar in St. Paul, Minnesota in October 2021. Two people were convicted for their parts in her death, however, one has appealed his conviction. We ask that you keep her family’s spirits lifted as they go through this terrible time. Cameras within the establishment show what happened. It’s the smallest technicality during the trial that can cause someone to get less time than they deserve for taking a life. A life so young and so promising. Remembering Kiki. 🕊️
