The Reel Hope Project The Reel Hope Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that makes videos of kids in the foster care system who are waiting to be adopted.

There are 400,000 kids in foster care in the United States. 100,000 of those kids are waiting to be adopted. The Reel Hope Project creates videos of kids who are waiting to be adopted, using their reels to find a forever family for every child. Having a video reel doubles the likelihood of adoption for older kids. Our goal is to make a reel for 1,000 kids a year!

Meet Lane from Wyoming!

Lane has a bright, curious spirit, and a love for learning and exploring the world around him.

He absolutely loves dinosaurs, and thoroughly enjoyed bringing them to life through the painting activity.

When he’s not reading or learning, Lane loves building with Legos, swimming, and spending time at the park.

Lane is a creative, strong, and resilient kid. He is hoping for a family that will connect with him, spend time with him, and be there alongside him as he continues to pursue his interests. Lane deserves a forever family.

Meet Robert from Texas!

Robert has a genuinely kind heart and he loves helping the people around him.

He enjoys being outside and working on the yard. Weeding, gardening, watering the plants- you name it! The treehouse is one of his favorite spots to relax- he even had a hand in building it as building is another favored hobby of his.

He loves football and trucks, as well as playing on his electronics.

Robert has a smile that will light up anyone's day. He is looking for a family that can give him structure, encouragement, and help him achieve his goals. Robert deserves a forever family.

There is nothing more powerful than a story. We believe that people gather around stories, are moved by stories, and that change is ignited through the spark of a story. We believe that stories change the world.

Every child deserves a forever family, and kids experiencing foster care are more than just their case file. We believe in giving them a chance to share who they are- to share their story- with potential adoptive families. Having a reel DOUBLES their chances of being adopted, and we are thrilled to have a hand in that process.

Meet Zander from Wisconsin!

As soon as we arrived at the location for the video shoot, Zander was quick to begin crafting! His concentration and focus on creating was truly remarkable.

He loves art in any form, and will spend hours creating things that excite him such as animal prints, paper planes, and more!

Zander enjoys observing nature, and he loves all animals- even stuffed animals!

He is looking for a loving family who can support him, encourage him, and walk alongside him as he continues to pursue his interests.

We are so excited to give you all a glimpse into this incredible evening of hope.

Last Saturday, we hosted an evening to celebrate 10 years of serving kids, and launch into the next ten with a fresh framework of, "Stories Change the World." We believe that people gather around stories, are moved through stories, and that change is ignited at the spark of a story. We believe that stories change the world.

This is why it is so important to our team to ethically share kid's stories- giving them a voice to express who they are. They are more than their file, and they all have stories that deserve to be heard.

10 YEARS!! 🎉

This past Saturday, we celebrated 10 years of impact at Flying Cloud Airport surrounded by our incredible community of supporters. 🫶🏼✈️

We reflected on all that Reel Hope has accomplished, and we also look ahead with hope to the next decade of serving kids. We believe that humans are drawn to stories, and that they are moved by stories. We believe that stories change the world. Every child deserves a forever family, and we are thrilled to help them share their story.
