May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Black and African women often carry invisible weight, systemic barriers, cultural pressure to “stay strong,” and stigma around asking for help.
But mental health care is not a luxury. It’s necessary.
Rest is valid. Support is valid. Healing is valid.
