Solidarity with The Rogers Workers Union (NUHC)!

"The complaint, issued Oct. 8 by Minneapolis-based NLRB regional director Jennifer Hadsall, set a hearing on the allegations to start Dec. 14 before a labor relations board administrative law judge in Milwaukee."

"Spurred by policy changes that employees said led to increased client caseloads and reduced one-on-one care for clients, therapists and other behavioral health professionals at clinics in Madison and West Allis began organizing with the NUHW in 2025.

The NLRB complaint alleges Rogers fired six employees and took other actions to discourage employees from organizing a union.

🗳 Early voting begins in Milwaukee next Tuesday October 20th and runs until Sunday, November 1st. The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd. Make sure you are registered to vote and ready to vote for a pro-labor candidate.

In a great win for the workers organizing a union at Rogers Behavioral, the NLRB has filed a formal complaint against Rogers for the 6 workers they fired for organizing. "Less than 5% of charges, or accusations, filed with the labor board each year result in a complaint by the agency, according to its data. Typically, cases end in withdrawal, dismissal or settlement." We knew from the minute we heard their side of the story that these workers have a very strong case. It's fantastic to see some good news for those who organize to strengthen their workplace.

A complaint filed against Rogers Behavioral Health alleges it interfered with workers' right to unionize after firing six would-be members.

"There were signs of Republican defections and Trump-Crowley voters were not uncommon. Of voters with whom we spoke in 2024 who said they planned to vote for Trump that year, 22% have said that they intend to vote for David Crowley for Governor this year. And of voters who said they were undecided in the Gubernatorial election, four out of 10 said they were Republicans who could no longer vote Republican. Jacob, a 42-year-old Republican in Janesville, said, "Our government officials don't care about fixing the problems that matter to us. I've been a Republican all my life but I can't in good faith vote for Republicans in this election. I have to stand up for what I believe in, even if that means voting for a Democrat."

Union Siblings, the mid-term election is in 21 days and we have the opportunity to vote in a Democratic trifecta that will repeal Act 10 and right-to-work.

Democratic nominee for governer David Crowley made a stop at the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1473 union hall this afternoon to talk to voters, answer voter questions, and snap a few pics. Our Education & Organizing Coordinator Andrew Wehrheim attended, asked a question, and got a pic with Crowley. Thank you to Ayanna Werth and UFCW 1473 for the invitation to attend!
