FairWave: We want a fair contract!

Anodyne workers have been bargaining with FairWave for six months, and FairWave's current contract proposal offers no wage increases for the majority of workers.

On Saturday, workers held an informational picket outside the Milwaukee Public Market Anodyne cafe, and the community showed out to tell FairWave they aren’t going to stand for it.

The Wisconsin Living Wage Coalition is hosting its next town hall event feating Citizen Action of Wisconsin, Our Wisconsin Revolution, United Auto Workers, and more! We will be joined by State Representative Angelina Cruz, living wage legislation sponsor.

WHEN: Thursday May 19th, at 6pm
WHERE: Racine Teachers Union Hall (1201 West Boulevard)

We’ll be discussing topics like stagnant wages, what happened to workers bargaining power, and what we are going to do to organize, fight, and win comprehensive living wage legislation.

Discourse barista Caitlin Raasch voiced her support for the Anodyne Workers Union at their 414 Day Rally.

Earlier this year, Discourse Coffee workers unionized with strong majority support, and their employer voluntarily recognized their union.
