That's where our incredible community comes in!

Through our Meal Train program, individuals, families, businesses, and community groups can volunteer to provide meals for the families staying at the Milwaukee VA Fisher House.

Whether you're preparing a favorite family recipe, organizing a meal with coworkers, or ordering dinner from a local restaurant, your generosity helps provide comfort and a little taste of home during a difficult time.

What a great partnership all around. Thank you to the Brewers Community Foundation for being a consistent supporter of Fisher House Wisconsin and the Milwaukee- and soon… Madison VA hospitals

Special thanks to the NL Central champion Milwaukee Brewers for their continued generous support of Veterans at the Milwaukee VA and Fisher House. Over this past weekend, the Brewers Community Foundation presented a check from the proceeds of their annual run/walk to the Fisher House Wisconsin and Milwaukee VA leadership.

Over the past several years, the foundation has funded an ongoing campus artwork beautification project, a new gazebo for Veterans at the Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder Center, supported the Fisher House, and purchased the wish list for inpatient Veterans and residents, among other initiatives.

What an incredible day. 💙🇺🇸

Thanks to our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, auction supporters, partners, and friends, the 14th Annual Fisher House Wisconsin Golf Outing raised over $396,000 in total community support for Wisconsin’s military and veteran families!

Every dollar helps us continue supporting families staying at the Milwaukee VA Fisher House while moving closer to an extraordinary goal — building the Madison VA Fisher House and bringing a “home away from home” to families receiving care in south-central Wisconsin.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day came when the Hidalgo family presented an extraordinary $150,000 gift from the 1Lt Daren M. Hidalgo Memorial Foundation in support of the Madison VA Fisher House. Carmen Hidalgo shared the story of her late brother, 1Lt Daren M. Hidalgo, and how their family continues to honor his life and service through the Foundation created in his memory.

To the entire Hidalgo family: thank you for entrusting Fisher House Wisconsin with a part of Daren’s legacy. His memory will continue making a difference for military and veteran families for generations to come. ❤️
