Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce

10/27/2026

Join NGLCC - The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce's Heritage Committee, Transgender, Gender-Expansive (TGX) and Allies Initiative, and the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber in commemorating Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) with From Visibility to Legacy: Honoring Trans Lives Through Community Advocacy, a conversation about the importance of preserving transgender history, honoring community trailblazers, and turning remembrance into lasting impact.

Through the story of Erica Andrews, an internationally recognized transgender performer, mentor, and community leader who called San Antonio home for two decades, this session will explore the grassroots advocacy effort to honor her legacy through a proposed memorial street designation. Attendees will learn how LGBTQ+ and allied organizations, community advocates, chambers of commerce, and local government leaders can work together to preserve LGBTQ+ history and ensure the stories of those who shaped our communities are not forgotten.

This discussion will highlight the power of visibility, collaboration, and civic engagement in creating meaningful, lasting recognition. Whether you’re a business owner, community leader, advocate, or ally, you’ll leave with ideas for honoring transgender lives, uplifting community voices, and helping preserve LGBTQ+ history for future generations.

Great conversations, new connections, and a cocktail everyone was talking about!

We had a fantastic turnout for last night's OUT After Work at Uncle Wolfie's Downtown & The Wolf! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and welcome new ones for an evening of networking, conversation, and building relationships across our business community. The Pandan Painkiller cocktail was a huge hit, too!

A big thank you to owner Wolfgang, bartenders Burke and Becky, and Chef Kristen Schwab for the wonderful hospitality.

That's what OUT After Work is all about: bringing people together, creating connections, and supporting local businesses!
