God communicates personally with us through :
1. The Written Word (The Bible)
God speaks primarily through scripture, giving timeless truth, comfort, and direct guidance for daily life. When you read a Bible verse, a specific passage can suddenly feel alive and deeply relevant to a current situation you face.
2. The Holy Spirit (Inner Voice)
The Holy Spirit lives inside believers and provides a quiet, internal nudge, conviction, or peace. This inner witness often brings a sense of comfort or warns you against a harmful choice.
3. Circumstances (Open and Closed Doors)
God can guide your path by arranging events, creating unexpected opportunities, or closing doors to protect you. Paying attention to how situations unfold helps reveal His direction for your career, relationships, or decisions.
4. Other People (Wise Counsel)
God frequently uses friends, mentors, pastors, or even strangers to share an encouraging word, a timely warning, or wise advice. This counsel usually aligns closely with biblical teachings and provides objective clarity.
5. Prayer and Quiet Reflection
Prayer is a two-way conversation where you talk to God and pause to listen. Setting aside quiet time allows your mind to settle so you can recognize His peaceful promptings in your heart.

Psalm 28:7 “The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.”
When was the last time you really needed help? You might have needed someone to give you a ride to a store or needed instructions to the right office space. Perhaps you needed help with your mental health or getting advice on what jobs to apply for.
Whatever your needs are, God knows them and he is there to help. The next time you feel you don't know where to start, get on your knees and pray. Let God into the picture so you can figure it out together. God will open the doors you need to meet your need. When you receive the help you need, you will be able to praise him and trust him all the more. Then, tell others of the goodness of the Lord and how God opened doors, provided circumstances, put people in place, changed your
thinking and heart's desire, etc. to provide the help you needed – JUST at the right time. God is never late.

Proverbs 16:24 “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.”
It's too easy to hear unpleasant words these days. Take any well-known social media post and scroll through the comments and you will find those words written with the intention to hurt others. In a world of verbal abuse, WE CAN use our words to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Use your words-- whether written or spoken – to refresh others and bring light into others' worlds.
If someone looks nice – tell them. If someone feels down, find a way to help them smile. If you are visiting a sick friend, offer to pray for/with them. There are many ways your words can be as pleasant as a honeycomb.
