Explore urban forests with Friends of Estabrook Park! This Saturday May 9th at 10am you can learn about identifying trees and our restoration efforts right here in Milwaukee County. We will begin in the south parking lot next to the Kilbourntown house.

The Lakefront Drone Show will be back Friday, July 3rd to celebrate Independence Day and we need your help! You have until May 15th to contribute to the $50,000 grant challenge put forth by philanthropists David Herro and Jay Franke. Your support makes an immense difference in continual access to high quality programming throughout Milwaukee County Parks. Have you ever wanted to learn more about fishing? Join us for a free fishing lesson at McGovern Park Saturday, May 9th from 9am - 12pm. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present. Participants 16 or older must have a valid fishing license 🎣

We did it! The Milwaukee Riverkeeper spring clean up has made The Guinness World Records book for having the most participants in a multi-river clean up! Way to wrap up National Volunteer Month!

Happy Arbor Day! 🌳 Check out this video to learn about tree planting projects throughout our parks. Planting thousands of trees per year strengthens the urban canopy and works towards environmental justice and equity goals.
